It seems probable that the strong lobbying by the western trade-union members in Brussels, and growing populism, will lead to a change in the EU law on posting employees to work abroad. The implementation of the regulations within the required two years will particularly impact on road transport, disorganising it at the domestic level and excluding foreign transport companies from domestic services, indirectly leading to increases in the costs of logistics.
